STOP saying CREATOR!

Ok, look, we have to stop using the word “creator” when we simply mean web designer, or videographer, or tech writer. First, it’s demeaning to nurses, electricians, farmers, etc all of whom creatively solve problems every day.

More importantly, “creator” draws an unnecessary dividing line between all hard working people, feeding political and social polarization. It’s a dubious distinction that *creates* tension. And it’s elitist.

For the same reason, we mustn’t JUST forgive college loans, but instead offer every 20 year-old a voucher they can apply towards education or for starting a business.

Together, we are stronger.

Oh, why this text? Well medium expands the view of any story under a 2 min read, which clutters up the index. So until I can find a better work around….
